The most epic dragon ever??
The wonders of amazing artists giving their stuff away for free!
One of the major rules for the derby was that we’re not allowed to spend money to market our books. Finding promotional materials for free that work is really hard. I had to resort to AI art.

However, I’ve also been browsing through online stock sites and I found an absolutely amazing piece of art that is available to use by the artist for free! I am so impressed…
Without further ado… meet the dragon in my dragon book!
I just saw this piece and I had to stop and breathe for a few moments. It is so epic and monumental and makes me want to take my story even further! (Did you end up reading my post about my novella’s identity crisis? This is another reason why it wants to grow to epic proportions - just like this dragon).
But, alas, at the end of the day the most important thing to get out of this picture (other than a huge thank you to the artist, who is absolutely amazing) is that my dragon book isn’t about western dragons.
In fact, it isn’t about dragonS - it’s about one dragon. It is about that dragon above, in particular. It’s not quite that big in my story, but hey… you never know ;)
Outside of that epic dragon and the AI character art, I’ve also been a frequent visitor of pexels for both photos and videos (mostly videos), since I’ve been using TikTok as my main platform to promote.
